Because Newark is large enough to be significant in conversations across the country, small enough for just a few schools to quickly reach a high percentage of students, and culturally ready to invest in meaningful educational reform, we are primed to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity. Already operating four campuses in the city and serving over 1,000 students, within the next three years we will grow to serve 5% of the Newark population and hope to expand even further in the future. Position Summary: The Cox Media Manager of Finance will be responsible for financial reporting &amp; analysis, performance measurement, and trend analysis for the CMI Las Vegas business. Reviews and provides feedback on corporate built budgets &amp; forecasts. The position will also work closely and support the VP Cox Media to provide financial reporting and analysis needs.</p>

<p>Primary Responsibilities/Tasks &#8211; Essential Functions<br />
- Responsible for financial support, financial reporting, trend analysis and contract audits for CMI Las Vegas.<br />
- Review and analyze corporate built budget and forecasts and provide feed back to local and corporate leadership on risks and opportunities in proposed plan.<br />
- Supports the VP Cox Media and CMI leadership on sales performance measures, budget variance analysis, ROI analysis on potential sales, and relevant performance measures (customer, financial, internal process and employee).<br />
- Monitors and assists with CMI capital spending requirements, including interfacing with residential CapEx team on all new projects and developing projected CapEx spending.<br />
- Develops action plans with appropriate functional owners to respond to negative financial trends or to leverage opportunities.<br />
- Reviews monthly financial results and prepares monthly reports for corporate and local leaders, including monthly reviews with Director of Finance and VP Cox Media related to performance.<br />
- Reviews and approves all significant billing adjustments.<br />
- Tracks Business Development Consultant accounts.<br />
- Leads and develops direct reports to continually improve processes and meet financial and operational goals.</p>

<p>Environment/Working Conditions:<br />
All work is performed in a climate-controlled environment. Most work will be done in a designated office; however walking throughout the building will be required. Additional requirements include, sitting for extended periods of time working on a computer.</p>

Physical Efforts: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit.
